Shana also understands the dynamics of emotional intensity and strives to help clients build or regain emotional balance and stability in their lives.

Shana is passionate about working from a relational perspective, as our relationships help to mold us into who we are and can be a tremendous support in moving through difficult times. She is also passionate about trauma-informed care. Shana appreciates facilitating groups, as well as working with individuals, couples, and families. Shana prides herself on being genuine and showing up as a human first in the therapy room. She prefers to work alongside her clients to support them in moving toward healthy relationships and fulfilling lives through a strengths-based approach. Her most fulfilling moments as a therapist have been when she is able to laugh with a client or share in their joy of a positive moment or success in their therapy process.

Shana is MFCC’s Substance Abuse and Recovery Services Program Coordinator where she works with those struggling with substance abuse and addiction, as well as their families, to educate, process trauma related to addiction, and change the trajectory of family recovery
