Jocelyn is a provisionally licensed mental health counselor who earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University. As a bilingual and bicultural counselor, Jocelyn provides culturally and linguistically relevant services to the Latinx population. Additionally, she brings expertise and knowledge from her previous experience assisting survivors of domestic and sexual violence through advocacy and crisis intervention. She believes we are the authors of our own stories, and we all have strengths to assist us on our journey to self-discovery, healing, and wellness. Jocelyn is honored to be a part of your journey and her goal is to facilitate a comfortable, authentic, and non-judgemental counseling environment for you.

Jocelyn utilizes an integrative and holistic approach to counseling by incorporating Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Most importantly, Jocelyn works collaboratively with her clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs and goals. Jocelyn believes that by empowering her clients to take an active role in their own journey of healing, they can achieve lasting, positive changes in their lives.
