Bari Lloyd
Operations Manager
            &
Registered Yoga Teacher

Bari grew up in Ankeny Iowa and attended ASU College of Performing Arts in Tempe AZ.  After returning to Des Moines she attended Drake University College of Pharmacy and is a Registered Pharmacist in Iowa.  After working as a pharmacist, for many years she saw a need for and grew a passion for helping people prevent illness instead of just treating the symptoms, such that are often the focus of pharmacy care.  As a lifelong dancer she fell in love with and has focused on yoga for the last 5 years as a way to nurture herself. Through her practice she discovered it also helped with arthritis and anxiety.  She received her RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certificate in 2017 and loves sharing her passion of yoga through giving classes to the staff and clients at MFCC. She is also trained in teaching yoga with a trauma focus to help others heal from negative life experiences.  Her regular classes are trauma sensitive and set to the pace of the student’s level of comfort and skill, beginners’ are welcome.
