Lindsay is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. Lindsay is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Lindsay is additionally trained in EMDR, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, an evidence-based trauma treatment.
Lindsay has many years of experience in working with children, families, individuals and couples and has a passion for this community. Lindsay is committed to providing safety and comfort while partnering with her clients to work toward their goals.
Lindsay enjoys supporting newly licensed therapists on their journey to becoming fully licensed by providing quality supervision. She works to provide opportunities to master's level students to complete practicum and internship hours at MFCC. She works to partner with her community in ways that will promote awareness of mental health and treatment options.
Lindsay enjoys attending community meetings, working with the Des Moines Public School District, and collaborating with other mental health professionals in order to seek growth and learning opportunities for herself and MFCC.
