Callie is an LGBTQ+ identifying and affirming Licensed Master Social Worker who received their Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa. They also earned their Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Northern Iowa.
Callie has experience working with adults and adolescents struggling with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. They have years of experience working with children ages 6-13, from diverse backgrounds, and different levels of ability, in a non-therapeutic setting.
Callie utilizes a whole-person approach and look at how all aspects of an individual's life may be affecting them and their recovery. Callie aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free environment for every client. They utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
